Hippo have launched a number of new products that aim to make delivering a bigger, better performance on the task at hand even easier.

Choosing the correct sealant for the job can be an arduous task. When you’re standing in front of merchant shelves packed full of brightly coloured cartridges, deciphering the array of confusing performance messages can become difficult and time-consuming, something that we could all do without.

The thoughtfully designed, straight forward approach of Hippo’s new extended SEALit range brings easy to understand, class leading performance. Now it’s easy for anyone to quickly grab the right product for the job and to get the job done with high performance results. The SEALit range consists of 5 products.

Hippo SEALit Sanitary Silicone

A high modulus, acetoxy curing silicone which contains a powerful anti-fungal compound to prevent mould & fungal growth in areas of high humidity. For sealing worktops, laminates, baths, showers, sanitary fittings and ceramic tiles especially in areas subject to condensation.

Hippo SEALit General Purpose Silicone

A highly versatile, low modulus and neutral curing silicone that adheres to a wide range of porous and non-porous surfaces. Suitable for internal and external perimeter pointing around all types of window frames including glazing work with insulated glass units. Sealing soft metals like lead, copper & zinc. Weather and draught proofing applications. Fixing PVCu trims and panels.

Hippo SEALit Builders Silicone

Designed for fast application this quick drying acetoxy curing silicone adheres to most materials. It makes quick work of general interior and exterior jobs.

Hippo SEALit Roof & Gutter

High quality butyl rubber based sealant and adhesive that adheres to most common roofing materials. It can be used as a sealant, adhesive or gap filler on roofing projects to provide instant and permanent weather proofing.

To accompany the launch over the course of 2018 Tembe will invest their biggest ever amount in product support campaigns. Hippo commercials can already be heard regularly on talkSPORT radio. All commercials feature an infamous, over demanding customer who’s “…wife’s white carpets stay white or else!”. During the last 3 years, in his own unique way, he’s demanded that tradesman deliver bigger, better performance by using Hippo Carpet Protector, Heavy Duty Wipes and PRO3.
