This year Hippo are supporting Children with Cancer with special promotional packs of Heavy Duty Trade Wipes. For each pack sold a donation of 50 pence will be made to the leading charity.
Children with Cancer UK is the leading national children’s charity dedicated to the fight against childhood cancer. Funding life-saving research into the causes, prevention and treatment of childhood cancer and working to protect young lives through essential welfare programmes.
HIPPO Heavy Duty Trade Wipes are made from super strength, anti tear spun lace with micro beading. The industrial-strength cleaning wipes are designed for use by anyone needing an effective, reliable and immediate hand or tool cleaning solution. They successfully remove oil & water based paints, oil & grease, silicone, uncured PU foam, adhesive, stubborn grime and much more. Each wipe is double sided and there are 80 in each pack.
Guy Malam, Managing Director explains why he decided to support Children with Cancer UK:
“Cancer is the biggest child-killer disease in the UK. Almost 4,000 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer in the UK every year and the incidence has been on the increase. There are more than 50 types of childhood cancer. Thanks to research funded by Children with Cancer UK survival rates for the most common form of childhood cancer, leukaemia, have increased dramatically over the past 50 years, but for some rare types of cancer survival rates remain at zero. Tembé are proud to continue doing its part to help raise money for a cure.”
In addition Guy and Kevin Heath will be taking part in this year’s Virgin Money London Marathon. Running to also raise vital funds for Children for Cancer UK.
