As part Tembé’s commitment to rejuvenate the market place with top quality products that reduce and remove waste plastic from packaging. We have launched an extra large extension to Hippo’s best selling range of Heavy Duty Trade Wipes.
The new proposition offers shoppers vastly bigger wipes in revamped packaging. As a result, compared to the current best seller, this product now cleans more and cuts waste plastic by more than two thirds.
On Pack Launch Promotion
To publicise its arrival and boost sales of the new wet wipes, we are backing the launch with a compassionate on shelf promotion.
Within the framework of 20,000 special packs, Tembé will make cash donations to support Children with Cancer. In doing so we will support the hard working charity with a contribution of £10,000 to help them continue their important work.
Double Sided Wipes Have Doubled in Size
The new double sided wipes are bigger and better in every way. Each 42cm x 20cm wipe is 91% bigger than its popular stablemate, which means even more cleaning power.
Additionally the new packaging boasts a whopping 76% less plastic than the orginal tub. And for good measure 36% less than competitor grab bags, which means much less waste. Product manager Oliver Vollans said:
Our strategy is to continue removing unnessasary plastic from all our products. We’ve already eliminated more than 2 tonnes from our wipes and this new pack helps everyone take the next step.
£10,000 Donation to Support Children with Cancer
The charity promotion was stylishly set in motion at this years London Marathon. Where Tembé managing director Guy Malam successfully completed the exhausting 26.2 mile course for Children with Cancer. Guy finished his 12th marathon strongly and was delighted to record a respectable time of 4:30:56. And speaking after the race Guy said:
We’ve been supporting Children with Cancer since 2017 and this years fund raising work will bring our total so far to nearly £60,000 for this great cause.
