We’ll be thinking about Tembe sales director Kevin Heath this weekend, when he competes in a full marathon at Bournemouth’s festival of running on Sunday. Kev is running to support our 2016 charity Children with Cancer and picks up the baton from managing director Guy Malam who ran the London Marathon earlier this year.
Coupled with sales contributions made from special promotional packs of Hippo Heavy Duty Trade Wipes Tembé has so far been able to raise more than £5,500 to help with the charities work.
Every year, almost 4,000 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer in the UK. This means over ten families are given this devastating news each day. Despite the huge advances that have been made in recent decades to improve treatments, cancer is the leading medical cause of death in children and young people, responsible for the loss of more than 500 young lives every year in the UK.
The Bournemouth Marathon Festival takes place between the 1st and 2nd of October. Click the logo above to find out more about Children With Cancer UK and click here to track Kev’s route along the coast this Sunday.
Good luck.
